Barrow Cemetery in County Durham

Remains of a Bronze Age barrow cemetery including four mutilated barrows are located on a plateau.

Barrow A (NY98711334) has 11m in diameter and is 0.3m high. It is the NE barrow of the cemetery.

Barrow B (NY98641331) has 12m in diameter and is 0.6m high. It is the NW barrow of the cemetery.

Barrow C (NY98741329) has 18m in diameter and is 0.8m high, which makes in the best preserved mound of the cemetery. It is located near the field wall.

Barrow D (NY98651325) has 16m in diameter and is 0.6m high. It is the SW barrow of the cemetery.
