MenhirHunters visited on 2nd Sep 2014 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 4 Access: 4 Coming from the city center of Iffendic you take the D31 until you cross a small bridge over Le Meu. Turn left on D63 and then the first to your right which is Rue des Genêts. There is a white sign already indicating the location of the menhir, as well.
Follow the road about 400m, then take the road to your left leading to La Chesnaie. Follow the road about 700m, then take the road to your left towards La Petite Barre. At the end of the road you can leave your car near the farm house and take the path which leads towards the menhir.
The location is actually quite nice, giving a view over the landscape. The menhir is still impressive though overgrown with braid. Must have looked great back in the days as it seems to be red granite.
The menhir is about 4m tall, slightly leaning towards West. Well worth a visit.
