Memsie Burial Cairn
Memsie Burial Cairn submitted by bobs : A fine Bronze Age burial cairn. The only survivor of three which originally stood here. Grid Ref: NJ976620 (Vote or comment on this photo)
A fine example of a Bronze Age burial cairn. It is the only one remaining of the three which originally stood here.

When excavated, a beaker and a leaf-shaped sword were discovered. It is completely free of lichen, or any plant life and is a very impressive cairn of this type.
