mfrincu visited on 15th Nov 2014 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 3 Access: 4 Only for the passionate. The place consists of long parallel lines going straight or in circles and has been deteriorated when the interstate was built. Not as impressive as Blythe Intaglios but still a good example of native art.

Misc. Earthwork in The West

A less known geoglyph in eastern California. The Topock Maze is six hundred years old and is part of the creation story of the Fort Mohave Indian tribe. A large portion was destroyed when building the I-40 interstate. The site is easily accessible following a short dirt road used by some oil/gas companies. On the ground you can experience trences that resemble those made by modern plows. Many lines are parallel to each other. While not as spectacular as the Blythe Intaglios located south of this place, this site is a must for any ancient site passionate.
