Rock Art in Yuma County, Arizona. Petroglyphs on a basalt promontory on the Gila River. The site is considered important because finds there are indicative of two separate culture groups, the Patayan and Hohokam.
A trailhead kiosk offers a register for the hiker. The petroglyphs are spread out on both outcrops and in a boulder field, generally north of the trailhead kiosk. Note: the location given is only approximate.
Note: Reward offered to ID Arizona Petroglyph Vandals.
