The Desert Botanical Gardens contain displays and planting of all the plant species common to the Sonoran Desert, including plants that native people depended on for building materials, food, and everyday needs. Some excellent displays and a very worthwhile visit. The material here represents only that with obvious connection to the desert cultures of the people; there are many more trails to take in wildlife, flora and fauna of the desert which are not covered here. See Desert Botanical Gardens website.
Note: Photos of the trail here relevant to Native American culture now up.
