Eagle Mountain Petroglyphs submitted by Andy B : Eagle Mountain Pictographs Ancient American Indian pictographs or petroglyphs in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Image copyright: Dave Bascom (Dave Bascom), hosted on Flickr and displayed under the terms of their API. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Rock Art in USA. Eagle Mountain Petroglyphs, Utah County, Utah. Ancient rock art dating from Archaic artwork of six thousand years old to taht of the Freemont culture of 500-1300AD.

A news item from the Salt Lake Tribune on how a housing developer, while not stopping the development of the area, seems to be willing to work with archaeologists to preserve the site itself. The site location reflects the general area of a neighborhood where the petroglyphs can be found, but not the exact location. The roack art may be seen along a trail in the common areas.

Note: Rock Art revealed by development.
