Ancient Village in Navajo County, Arizona.
One of the easily accessable pueblo ruins of Homol'ovi Ruins State Park. The pueblo is located on the top and southern slope of a great mound-like slope. The ruins are unexcavated or have been recovered to protect them from the elements, but the portions showing give a good impression of this multi-room apartment-like village.

This area along the Little Colorado River shows signs of occupation since AD600, but the ruins date from the 1200's. The Hopi Indians trace their roots directly to Homol'ovi and still travel here for ceremony and gatherings.
A trail provides access. The State Park visitor center gives good information on the site and provides camping and picnicing areas as well as trails to enjoy the natural setting.
