Rock Art in Yorkshire (West)

These carvings occur along the break of slope at the edge of the summit plateau, forming a discontinuous line with the Clattering Edge entries. Many show significant erosion and there may be an overlap with small weathering pits. Some occur in association with natural basins, at least one of which has been modified. 15 to 19 seem to be grouped around a poised block on a slab.

The viewsheds are all similar with shortest horizons to the north and views over Dimmin Dale or Crimsworth Dean.
