4clydesdale7 visited on 14th Jul 2011 - their rating: Cond: 1 Amb: 3 Access: 4 When at Woodbarrow looking at a nice view over Bleakmoor nr (E) Chedworth look over your right shoulder - if the sun has almost set you will see this (in outline) it is just discernible
This is not the Round Barrow numbered 76 in Witts list but one that can only be found by referring to the Ancient Monuments site - this is SE of the Roman Villa (76 is SW) - it can only be seen as a small rise in an uncultivated part of a field about 100m N of Woodbarrow - it is best seen in a low evening sun which just about displays its outline
