BrownEdger visited on 6th Jul 2013 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 3 Access: 4 Rather overgrown when I visited. 'Gulliver' and the Cement works formed a contrasting backdrop. Must try to visit it again when the farmer has mown the fields.

Round Barrow(s) in Staffordshire

On first sight this barrow looks much denuded but after a walk around you can see much of it remains. Around 0.5m high and 15m diameter, the barrow is located on halfway down a steep hill overlooking the River Hamps at Waterhouses. Scheduled monument 22408.
