Upright sarsen on Fiddler's Hill near Broad Hinton

Drive up the A4361 from Avebury, at the Broad Hinton cross road turn right for Hackpen Hill. About 1km on the left park in the small run in. the Stone is about 10 mtrs along the path.

Fiddler's Hill (Wiltshire)
Fiddler's Hill (Wiltshire) submitted by vieveforward : Fiddler's Hill sarsen stone from the south-west. I suspect this stone was found in the field by the farmer and set upright on the field boundary relatively recently. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Fiddler's Hill (Wiltshire)
Fiddler's Hill (Wiltshire) submitted by NickyD : I felt there was something quite special about this stone. Maybe it was just because I was lucky with the beautiful sky that day or maybe it had an important role to play in the Winterbourne Basset story?!
