Just visited today

Nice peaceful location next to the church across the road from Stowe pool

Some rubbish and quite a bit of surface algae indicates that this well is not as well maintained as it might be, but the water was clear otherwise, nothing a good clean up wouldn't cure.

Advanced twilight here last night, with a blackbird for company. Starts very dark, but the well housing soon comes into view and focus.
