Round Barrow(s) in Wiltshire

"Two bowl barrows situated to the west of Hooklands Plantation, listed as Woodford 12 and 13 by Grinsell. Both barrows were excavated in 1961. The primary burial in Woodford 12 had been robbed but a crouched inhumation and several cremations were recorded undisturbed. Finds recovered from the mound included a flint scraper and part of a Roman bangle. Several cremations were also located outside the barrow. The other barrow, Woodford 13, was found to contain a crouched inhumation without grave goods. Another crounched inhumation was found to the northeast of the barrow. Field investigations in 1972 located no traces of either barrow. The barrows are recorded on aerial photographs as rather vague amorphous mounds."

Three Hills Barrows, Woodford
Three Hills Barrows, Woodford submitted by JoAtherton : Couldn't resist mound hunting this morning, heading over the border into Northamptonshire to visit the Bronze Age Three Hills near Woodford. Tremendous views across the Nene Valley beneath big, billowy skies. Felt like you could touch the heavens. I guess that was the intention. (Vote or comment on this photo)
