Pike Hill Tumulus is a round barrow 12 yards x 11 yards, 18 inches high (0.69 x 0.61x 0.43m). It was excavated in the 1920's where two cist were discovered. The primary cist was Oval and had been dug into the base rock. The cist was empty. A secondary cist was discovered close by resting on the base shale, and measured 2'3” x 2' x 17” deep (11x 10.06 x 0.46m). The floor was roughly paved. Two Pieces of artwork was discovered at the site. Ouston pike hill (a) found 3 feet from the secondary cist and was probably its cover. Ouston Pike Hill (b) is a single cup found inside the cist.
