Wilsford Cum Lake Bowl Barrow
Wilsford Cum Lake Bowl Barrow submitted by SolarMegalith : A Bronze Age bowl barrow near Wilsford Cum Lake - view from the SW (photo taken on June 2011). (Vote or comment on this photo)
An impressive Bronze Age bowl barrow (possibly a bell barrow) of 4.4 m height is located south from buildings of Wilsford village, near the road to Upper Woodford. The burial mound is in perfect condition, it is of 36 m diameter and it's quarry ditch is in perfect condition (however, the latter one might be of post-Bronze Age origin).

The site is easily accessable, it is well visible from the road.
