Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Derbyshire

In a private garden below the Castleton's famous Peak Cavern is this rapidly flowing cave. It was visited on Easter Sunday and water drank ritually. Its name is thought to derive from O.E risc, for ‘reedy’, or related to sound of water, as Rushop.
