Rock Art in Yorkshire (West)
The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) features a page for this cup and ring stone - see their entry for West Woods 02, Calverley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, which gives directions for finding this stone, together with an old photograph of the carving and a description.
TNA tells us they last saw this stone in 1985, near the West Woods 1 stone (see nearby sites below), but have since been unable to locate it. TNA says it is: "a large ring surrounding and enclosing two deep cups, which were linked to each other by a connecting carved line. Parts of the stone had been chipped in parts—including a section of the large ring— due to some industrial workings that had happened here in the past."
TNA asks if anyone is able to help locate it - perhaps it's "hiding beneath the trees and other vegetation."
