Cairn in County Durham. This site has been redesignated as a cairn and not a circle. It is probably just a pile of stones from field clearance, but it may be ancient. Anyone who is unhappy with this decision will need to provide evidence that it is a prehistoric site.

Stone crop at Holmside near Burnhope, Durham, England.

Local legend has it as being ancient burial site. My Great Grandfather knew it as "Gardner's Crop".
