Hillfort in Hampshire

Hampshire Treasures describes Quarley as "a univallate fort with counter-scarp and well defined entrances on north-east and south-west. Built on site of earlier palisade enclosure and overlying extensive system of Bronze Age ditches radiating from the hill."

From SolarMegalith: the earthworks of an Iron Age hillfort on Quarley hill enclose area of 3,6 ha and are in decent condition. The rampart is distinguishable on whole circumference, in some sectors of the earthworks traces of a ditch are distinguishable as well. The hillfort is located on private land, but there is a footpath leading to it from the south.
