Ancient Cross in Yorkshire (South)

Likely 10th century Anglo Saxon cross fragments (head, and lower parts) reconstructed within much later masonry into a complete cross. In the churchyard of All Saints' Cawthorne. Cross is around 4.5 metres in height.

There is the head of another cross, under the East Window of the North Chancel Aisle built into the wall. Charles Tiplady Pratt, writing "A History of Cawthorne" in 1881, considered the cross to be of the eleventh or early part of the twelfth century.
