It is situated in the Marais du Mesnil, a bit to the southwest of L'Ile St Samson and can easily be reached from a trackway into the marais from Le Mesnil lane. Wellies are almost certainly a necessity!
Local legend has it that the day this stone finally disappears into the marais, the world will end.
Note: La Roche Buquet found, still surviving above the Marais, so World still OK and does not end yet.
