Standing Stones in Shetland

A number of stones standing near to the Staneydale Temple are likely to likely to be broadly contemporary. The most obvious cluster is to the south of the temple where 5 stones have been identified whilst to the north is a tighter cluster of 6 stones. The purpose of these stones is unknown and it is not clear what proportion of the original layout remains. Canmore
