Round Barrows in County Durham

Durham Sites D1154 and D541

Two Bronze Age round barrows at Croup Hill, Murton Moor East Farm. An excavation of one of them found a cremation with a flint knife, a scraper and flint flakes.

There is no public access, the site is visible from the bridle path to the west.
