Calvaire De Louisfert
Calvaire De Louisfert submitted by AlexHunger : Cemetery of hundreds of megaliths uprooted from their rightful place in entire region between 1872-1892 by local Abbé Cotteux and supplanted by crossed and saints. An utter obscenity of kitsch and Christian Chauvinism. Abbé Cotteux is also buried in the Calvaire. If you love megaliths, don't come here. (Vote or comment on this photo)
A cemetery of hundreds of megaliths uprooted from their rightful place from over the entire Loire region between 1872-1892 by local Abbé Cotteux and supplanted by crosses and saints. Not for the faint hearted megalith lover!

Alex writes: An utter obscenity of kitsch and Christian Chauvinism. Abbé Cotteux is also buried here. If you love megaliths, don't come here.

Please, do a correction on your site after reading :

[Admin Edit 25 Sept 2018 the above link is 404 here's another https://www.ouest-france.fr/pays-de-la-loire/louisfert-44110/le-curieux-et-controverse-calvaire-d-un-abbe-5138783 ]

Jacques Cotteux was a nice scientist, unable to destroy a megalithic site. He was fond of progress, history, flora, fauna, minerals.
Before saying bad thinks against a person who is died, it is necessary to check the information.
Please, prove what you have written.
Best regards. Noël Bouvet
