Castle Donington hilltop mound
Castle Donington hilltop mound submitted by Horatio : Long Barrow just a hop over a small field from the B540 and with easy parking in one of the laybys on this road. Close to east Midlands airport perimeter fence and on the castle Donnington rd. Can't find anymore info on this site than what has already been written. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Castle Donington hilltop mound submitted by ESgt : Cutting from an Old-maps.co.uk 1903-4 1:10,560 Leicestershire map where this spot, grid-ref. 443203 325951, is marked "B.M.", which I think means Burial Mound. (3 comments - Vote or comment on this photo)
