Cairn in Yorkshire (West)

The Northern Antiquarin (TNA) tell us that this grave and ring ditch lies some 53 yards south of the Angel Moon Tumulus - see their entry for Round Hill Field, Ferrybridge, West Yorkshire. The TNA page has a photograph of the Roundhill tomb skeleton in situ, a plan of the tomb and descriptions from the excavation work of 1969.

Pastscape Monument No. 54385 also records this tumulus, adding: "The published barrow has been obliterated by the construction of temporary buildings associated with the construction of a new power station. The precise site of the second, excavated by Paccitto, was indicated at SE 47332444 by Mr. D. Townsend (a). Its position has now, however, been levelled for development and no trace remains. Mr Townsend states that the finds from the second barrow will be displayed in the power station when completed."
