St Boniface's Well (Ventnor)
St Boniface's Well (Ventnor) submitted by DavidCWoods : Not sure if I'll get this one past the checkers, but the text will show the justification. Not only the most elaborate "well housing" you'll find in many a long day but the produce (and therefore well water) is liberally available locally. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Isle of Wight

Although I havn't visited the hill top location of this well, reference to that excellent publication Good Beer Guide 2007 under Ventnor Brewery states "Beer has been brewed on the site since 1840. The beers today are still made with St. Boniface natural spring water that flows through the brewery". Certainly the brewery is in the town below the hill where the spring is marked. Reference given is the hill top site - the brewey is at SZ56567769.
