The church boasts a fine Saxon tower which re-uses a lot of Roman material. Other features include stained glass, a small relief carving by the altar and medieval bells. It is probably the oldest surviving church in York.
Access: The church is frequently closed, but I have been on a Saturday twice and it was open both times.
