Natural rock formation which looks like a dolmen, to the southeast of Mortain-Bocage.

The area is rich in rock outcrops, and prehistoric finds, a land marked by the legend of King Arthur, inhabited by fairies, elves, and other magical creatures.…!

I visited this site today after a recon last weekend. It is a special place worthy of folklore. There are large stones everywhere, I would not be surprised to hear that a dolmen or menhir is in here somewhere!

I've visited la fosse arthour, saint-georges-de-rouelley many times. It is a magical place for sure! I also believe it was an iron age hill fort. I have no proof. The view of the valley is stunning.
