Securely padlocked, a local lady said that it was due to be restored. A pump next to the padlocked box may gice access to the water. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Holy Well in Buckinghamshire. The well is about 150 yds. from the church (St. Mary's), down Schorne Lane past the Methodist chapel.

Buckinghamshire Council Archaeology Day, Sat, 30 Jul, 11am - 3pm

Join us at North Marston, the focus of Buckinghamshire's medieval pilgrimage route, to learn about the archaeology and history of Bucks.

Stalls from the council's Heritage and Archaeology Teams, the Bucks and Milton Keynes Finds Liaison Officer, the Young Archaeologists Club and more will showcase the county's rich heritage.

Learn how medieval pilgrims headed to North Marston to visit John Schorne's well, take part in a guided walk around the village, learn more about the Buckinghamshire Council Local Heritage List project, take part in our family activities, or bring along your mysterious objects for identification.


Location: North Marston Village Hall, Granborough Road, North Marston, Buckinghamshire, MK18 3PD, United Kingdom

Limited parking available at the village hall.

Drop in event at village hall.
