Dolmen immersed in the "boire" of Champtoce sur loire

During the drought of 1976 a dolmen immersed was identified by Mr. Ghirardi in a backwater of the loire about fifteen meters from the shore.

It is a dolmen composed of fifteen blocks of sandstone that point to a few tens of centimères above water.
He has the distinction of being located at a very low altitude (10m) and have been victile of alluvial deposits of the Loire.

He was described by M Gruet in the bulletin of the French Prehistoric Society in 1978 (Volume 75 / 1)
