Nell's Well
Nell's Well submitted by DavidCWoods : A view to put the well into context. It's quite close to the centre of Turvey - nearby is Ladybrook Cottage, which may have a connection. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Bedfordshire

R.C. Hope's "Ledgendary Lore" mentions a St. Mary's Well in Turvey. I'm not yet sure whether this is the same well, but it is situated in Newton Road, on the way to Newton Blossomville. It was restored by the PCC, and now consists of a pump in a stone arch, covered by a grill.

Nell's Well
Nell's Well submitted by DavidCWoods : The well is neat and tidy, but no obvious sign of water. I'm still trying to find out if this was St. Mary's Well, or whether that was somewhere else. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Peg o'Nell's Well
Peg o'Nell's Well submitted by Sunny100 : Peg o'Nell's Well, Lancashire. An old black & white image showing the overgrown well/spring with the headless statue of Peg standing at the side. The statue is probably St Margaret. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Peg o'Nell's Well submitted by Sunny100 : Peg o'Nell's Well in Lancashire. An illustration of the headless statue of Peg which stands beside the well. The statue is probably St Margaret. I don't know where the head went to! The well stands on private land close to Brungerley Bridge. (Vote or comment on this photo)
