Round Barrow in Surrey. A bell-disc barrow, diameter 40ft and 2ft high, with traces of an outer bank on the south-west side, on Whitmoor Common.

Opened by Pitt-Rivers in 1877 yielding two cinerary urns of bucket type. In the Pitt-Rivers Museum, Oxford. Scheduled Monument.

I found one of them, now cleared, but being excavated by foxes, one stone thrown up strangely moving, looked as if worked and not seen by human for n thousand years. There is a substantial literature summarised by Grinsell 1987. I haven't checked pastscape yet.
