We strolled up the old railway line from Le Châtellier in a North Easterly direction.
On reaching the gates across the cycle path we followed the footpath to the right.
Right next to the ford (Gué) on the IGN carte de randonée 1515O there it was, troll and all! Sadly, they've 'restored' it :(
