Stone Circle, James' Pond
Stone Circle, James' Pond submitted by p_hoags : This image was taken in 2013, the stone circle sits on the landscaped banks of James' Pond - the photo shows six standing stones, from memory a seventh stone - recumbent - is on the western side of the circle, but out of shot. (Vote or comment on this photo)
This thoroughly modern stone circle appears contemporaneous with the landscaping of the Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUBS) which serves Hampton Vale, Cambridgeshire

The stone circle sits on a spit of land comprising the banks of James' Pond. A second modern partial stone circle runs adjacent the south western side of the pond approx. TL 1720 9390. I last visited this site in 2013. So do not know it's current condition. I add it here, so that it may be discovered and perhaps it's current condition reported on. I felt too that it should at least be recorded for posterity.
