Dolmen de Baignes Sainte Radegonde
Dolmen de Baignes Sainte Radegonde submitted by Rubis : The dolmen is in front of the romantic manor of the abbot Michon and not in front of the castle of Montausier as mentionned on the postcard. (Vote or comment on this photo)
This dolmen was (or is) in the park of the romantic manor of the abbot Michon.

More information from taupin:
This burial chamber is situated on a private property with no admittance access. It is really a little dolmen, almost a miniature: 1.2 m height, about 1.8 long and 1.5 wide. The capstone about 0.8 m on thickness is probably put on only two slabs. I can't get nearer to confirm it.
Situated in a park of a baroque castle where lived Abbot MICHON, an historian of the XIXe century who wrote many books notably "La statistique monumentale de la Charente" within which are inventoried many megalithic monuments.

Dolmen de Baignes Sainte Radegonde
Dolmen de Baignes Sainte Radegonde submitted by Rubis : Older postcard than the first one. Again, it's not the castle of Montausier which is in the other side of the street. This dolmen seems very little with the child on it. (Vote or comment on this photo)
