Burgh Top submitted by DavidRaven : Approaching the barrow, I wondered if I'd found the right place. Surely there wouldn't be buildings on it...? Turns out it's the remains of a Royal Observer Corps monitoring post, built into the barrow in 1959. Decommisioned in 1976. Weird, eh? (Vote or comment on this photo)
