Great Wall Of Yan
Great Wall Of Yan submitted by TheDruid-3X3 : Great Wall of Yan nearby Beijing. Picture take from: https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Attraction_Review-g294212-d1979572-Reviews-Changping_Ancient_Great_Wall_of_Yan_Ruins-Beijing.html (Vote or comment on this photo)
The State of Yan, the easternmost of the three northern states, began to erect walls after the general Qin Kai drove the Donghu people back "a thousand li" during the reign of Jiping, King Zhao of Yan (312–279 BC) (燕昭王; r. 311–279 BC). The Yan wall stretched from the Liaodong peninsula, through Chifeng, and into northern Hebei, possibly bringing its western terminus near the Zhao walls.

The ruins in Jianping County, Chaoyang, are its best existing section. Ruins of the Yan Great Wall were also found close to the Ming Great Wall at Badaling, Changping, northeast of Beijing.

A southern Yan wall was erected to defend against the Zhao; it was southwest of present-day Beijing and ran parallel to the Juma River for several dozen miles.

China Highlights, "The 'Great Wall' of the State of Yan", which tells us: "The easternmost length of the first Great Wall of China was built by the ancient Yan State, whose territory contained today's Beijing and Tianjin, and parts of Hebei and Liaoning Provinces. Starting from Zhangjiakou it ran west to Liaoyang City in Liaoning. It was the last Great Wall section built in the Warring States Period. There are ruins of the Yan Great Wall in Liaoning Province, and near Badaling, Beijing";

Great Wall Of Yan
Great Wall Of Yan submitted by CoppellaiaMatta : Badaling section of the Great Wall. It's easy to reach from Beijing, so it gets very crowded, especially near the narrower turrets, but remains a very impressive sight. (Vote or comment on this photo)
